At SGM Events, we had the pleasure of welcoming Jehua (pronounced jay-who-ahh) into our studio for a live session that was both efficient and electrifying. A consummate professional, Jehua needed few takes to deliver performances that captured the essence of his unique musical style. A Musical Journey Rooted in Island Vibes
Born and raised in Hawaii, Jehua’s passion for music ignited at an early age, beginning with the piano. His musical journey led him through various genres, including oldies, ska, reggae, and rock. He gained prominence as a member of the Hawaii-based reggae band Natural Vibrations (also known as Natty Vibes), contributing to four albums and sharing stages with renowned artists such as Prince, 311, Jimmy Cliff, Ziggy Marley, UB40, Jack Johnson, Pepper, SOJA, and Slightly Stoopid.
Solo Endeavors and Live Looping
Now based in San Diego, Jehua has embraced a solo career, showcasing his versatility through live looping performances. Utilizing keyboard drums, bass, guitar, and ukulele, he creates a full-band sound that blends reggae, oldies, and pop with a Hawaiian twist. His solo act pays homage to classic artists while infusing his own unique style.
