We had the pleasure of attending and providing music for multiple weddings, private events, and special mixer for La Jolla Cove Suites, which is why they are this month’s featured venue! La Jolla Cove Suites features a 12,000 square foot oceanfront rooftop venue with panoramic views of La Jolla Cove, Scripps Park, and the Pacific Ocean. It comfortably seats up to 225 guests and can be used for a wedding ceremony, reception, or both. Space includes a glass-enclosed solarium, which can seat 60 guests indoors.
The solarium readily lends itself to receiving guests, guest book signing, cake cutting, or a dance hall, as outdoor music is allowed. Rental of the rooftop venue includes an inventory of cushioned chairs, cocktail tables, and movable lattice screens to customize the space as you wish. Additional rental items may be rented through a hotel preferred vendor. The rooftop has evening lighting, and the site offers one of the best sunset wedding locations in San Diego. Event planning professionals from the hotel are eager to work with you to help make the event of your dreams come to life on the rooftop.
Rental rates vary by season and day of the week. A discounted rooftop rate is available for those booking ten or more suites on the night of their event. The hotel offers a range of room types, many of them with oceanfront views. Group room rates are available. Guests can choose from among a list of preferred caterers or bring in a different caterer for a fee. Alcohol may be served through one of the preferred vendors or through the hotel preferred beverage caterer. The hotel offers a saltwater pool, spa, and barbecue court. La Jolla Cove Suites is a short walk to premier dining, nightlife, boutiques, galleries, and museums. It’s just steps away from the much-loved sea lions, swimmer’s cove, and coastal caves.
