With the average wedding ceremony lasting just 30 minutes, floral arrangements at the alter and aisles won’t receive much attention. Rather than letting them go to waste, ask your wedding planner or a trusted family member to move flowers from the ceremony to the reception. Reusing wedding flowers from the ceremony is a great way for couples to save money.
Don’t Choose Heat-Sensitive Flowers
If you plan on tying the knot during the spring or summer months, it’s best to avoid heat-sensitive flowers. Anemone, while brilliantly colorful and easy on the eyes, are a poor choice for this very reason. There’s nothing wrong with incorporating colors from your wedding dress into your floral arrangements, but you should still include other colors as well. Even if it’s just one additional “accent” color, your floral arrangements will have greater visual appeal if they feature multiple colors.
