The Sidekicks were formed in 1997 in Coronado (San Diego), CA. The band covers a wide range of songs by the most popular groups from the 60s to what’s currently on the radio.
When The Sidekicks aren’t booked for a corporate event, wedding, or some other function they can be seen on a regular basis at some of southern California’s top venues. For the past 13 years the band has had steady weekly gigs at venues like On Broadway, Analog, Whiskey Girl, Syrah, the Marriott Marquis, and Firehouse to name a few.
Aside from playing at the top venues around San Diego, the Sidekicks keep a busy schedule recording, doing session work, and a steady flow of corporate and private events. The band sometimes find themselves booked in New York, Nashville, Pennsylvania and Florida. The band is also booked frequently as a duo giving “unplugged” performances at public and private events.
